Doofus - a foolish or clumsy person
Dope - Cool
Duck off - To leave quickly
Esky - Portable insulated container or cooler
Fair Call – Fair enough
Flano – Flannelette shirt
Flavour savour – A small patch of facial hair below the lower lip
Gang busters - Doing extremely well
Getting on it – Colloquial for starting to drink alcohol or party
Gnarly – Extreme
Grog – Alcohol
Gutted - Deeply disappointed
Hammered – Intoxicated or very drunk
Hills Hoist – An Australian washing line brand
Keen - Eager or enthusiastic
Lino - Linoleum
Munted – Highly intoxicated or drunk
No worries - No problem
NRL - National Rugby League
Off her Chops - Extremely drunk
On the Piss – Drunk
Pegged it - Throw something with force
Piss-Weak – Pathetic
Potato Scallop – Potato cake
Refidex – An Australian street directory or road atlas
Samboy chips – A well-known Australian brand of potato chips
Sanity Music – A popular Australian music retail chain from the era
Schoolies week – Post-graduation party for school leavers on the Gold Coast
Servo – Service station
Shane Warne – Cricket player
Shane Webcke – NRL rugby player
Slugging – Punching
Snag – Sausage
Speedos – While a brand name, it is commonly used in Australia as a generic term for men's brief-style swimwear
Spitting Chips – Furious / Angry
Spray 'n Wipe – A brand name for a common household surface cleaner
Stoked - Very happy
Stunned Mullet - Looking bewildered
Tim Tams - a popular Australian biscuit.
Tosser - A foolish person
Wanker - Offensive term for a contemptible person
